ANIMALS - HELP US TO SAFE OUR VULNERABLE FRIENDS.

The streets of Colombia tell a grim story. Pregnant cats and dogs are often abandoned in the wild or the jungle or worse, killed. Injured animals, left untreated, roam the streets, vulnerable to further harm. Those that can't move fast enough often fall victim to bicycles, cars and motorcycles. The sight and smell of dead animals on the roadside are all too common, also in my suburb.

Parasites and skin conditions run rampant due to poor sanitation, and the desperate solution of using used motoroil as a treatment only exacerbates their suffering. Internal ailments like diarrhea and fever go untreated because of the lack of funds for veterinary care and medicine.
